* Attend your classes. Even if you are not paying full attention (which you should be!), it is still much easier to study for something you’ve already heard of and sort of seen before than something that is completely new.

*Take good class notes. Write legibly and keep your notes organized in a binder. If you write too fast and messy in class a good practice is to re-write your notes when you come home. This is also a great way to review what was taught and to add in extra information from the text book to clarify what you didn’t understand or missed during class.

*Allocate at least 2 hours of study time per class hour.
