Criticism around recent revamps in education 5/5 (3)

Students are getting less tests, being assigned less homework, and  as a result learning less in their K-12 education. Standardized testing has been scapegoated as the enemy and there have been extensive cuts in the curriculum content in our education system. In math class a lot of time is spent on reviewing last year’s material. Many students don’t feel challenged as they can move ahead without putting in much effort.  This leads to a  generation who is less knowledgeable and less able to cope with stress.
