If only students would – or could – tell us where they are and exactly what they need help with. In the absence of such revelation, it can be frustrating for the students to find academic success. We work with students to find out what they know and can do – and lead them to the next upward step.
How our Vancouver in-home tutoring sessions work
The method of tutoring we use is formative assessment based, meaning we are keen observers. We uncover students’ thinking and logic, discover what they know and don’t know, and probe for misunderstandings and misconceived notions. Tutors work collaboratively with parents and the company director to show students where they are in relation to skills and understandings they need, and to design instruction that fits.
Mehrnaz Bassiri, the director of MyGradeBooster, and her team of tutors help your child achieve the very best in education with an aim to impress you. We understand that tutoring is an important investment for families and we go above and beyond to ensure that you are completely happy with your child’s tutoring sessions.
